Welcome to Maggie's Glasgow Gatehouse and Maggie's Glasgow Gartnavel
Maggie's Glasgow Gartnavel
Maggie’s Glasgow Gartnavel provides a comprehensive cancer support programme for people and their families affected by cancer across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
One of Maggie’s primary aims is to make it as easy as possible for people living with cancer to access their local centre. Thus, when the Beatson Oncology Centre announced that it was moving from the Western Infirmary to a new site at Gartnavel Hospital, it was natural for Maggie’s to look to build a centre nearby. The centre is open between 9am and 5pm, from Monday to Friday.
Maggie's Glasgow Gatehouse
Maggie's Glasgow Gatehouse is situated on Dumbarton Road, at the entrance to the University of Glasgow beside Kelvingrove Park.
Maggie's Glasgow Gatehouse is open 9am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Tuesday the centre is open from 11.30am to 5pm and the centre is closed on Friday.

Maggie’s Glasgow Gatehouse was supported by fundraising with the Evening Times which raised £500,000, a grant of £290,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a further donation from Historic Scotland.

Maggie’s Glasgow Gartnavel is being funded by a generous grant from Walk the Walk, using proceeds from the annual Edinburgh Moonwalk. Thank you to the many thousands of walkers and their sponsors who have raised funds for Maggie’s Glasgow Gartnavel by taking part in this hugely popular night-time event.
